Taemin was recently recruited from Alliance For Youth Action (where he served as the Washington affiliate’s Program Director) to oversee WinPower’s grassroots programs for organizations and political campaigns. Taemin has been passionate about helping Progressives get elected and progressive organizations make change since 2014. His introduction to campaigns was as an organizer for a state senate campaign in Washington State. In 2015, he organized now- Washington State Representative Vandana Slatter’s Bellevue City campaign and soon after, he managed State Senator Mark Mullet’s successful 2016 reelection campaign, one of the most highly contested and top priorities to “defend” legislative races in Washington State for Democrats.
In May 2018 Taemin joined the Washington State Democrats as the King County Field Director where he helped Democrats elect U.S. Representative Kim Schier and increase majorities in the Senate and House.
Sara Kate Develle
After four campaigns and five legislative sessions, Sara has joined WinPower to help elect Democrats across the state. Sara has previously done political work Olympia, Whidbey Island, Tacoma and Vancouver, and will bring a unique perspective to WinPower. Sara is passionate about flipping swing districts and will use her talent and passion to benefit our community.
She is currently finishing her MPA at the Evergreen State College, with Graduation in June 2020.
John has over thirty years of community organizing, political consulting, and creative direction experience. He has worked for most major Democratic elected leaders in Washington State including Maria Cantwell, Jay Inslee, Adam Smith, and Derek Kilmer.
He’s the only local Creative Director in Washington State to win both the Reed Award for “Best Local Political Television Ad” and an American Association of Political Consultants Pollie Award for “Best Local Direct Mail”. He has run organizing programs in New Jersey, Iowa, California, New Hampshire and Washington states.
He specializes in graphic design, photography, videography, video editing, and scoring.
